With the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge now on the market, it's time to look forward to the next big thing all over again. Yes, already.
After the release of Samsung Galaxy S5 the excitement towards the future generation Galaxy S smartphone is spreading like fire because Samsung hinted that they may use the flexible display for the first time in the smartphone. But since the past couple of months lots of things has been revealed for next generation Galaxy smartphone and on other hand Galaxy S5 is criticised by the people because of its design but let us tell you that it is one of the best optimized, efficient and fast gadget Samsung ever manufactured. Also, it’s display has win the tag of “best display smartphone” as it is really efficient and better in rendering. And the good news for Galaxy S6 followers is that, Samsung might bring it in the month of (October 2014) February 2015.
It's hard to imagine the next phone in the Samsung Galaxy series, particularly so soon after the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge launch, but it's true. The first Samsung Galaxy S6 specifications may have already surfaced.
According to sources close to SamMobile, Samsung has adopted a start-from-scratch mentality for its flagship Android line. Along those lines, the device will reportedly carry a code name of "Project Zero".
Presumably running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Galaxy S6 may feature a Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) display; however the size is not yet known. Based on previous models might look for something in the vicinity of 5.2 inches.
As far as the camera is concerned, the tipster claims it will rival that of the Galaxy Note 4 and that it could fall between 16 and 20 megapixels. Further, the front-facing shooter should get a punch-up to 5 megapixels.
In terms of storage, the Galaxy S6 could come with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. I don't know about you, but personally, I'm glad to finally see a transition away from 16GB storage capacities.
When it comes to processing prowess, Samsung could again opt in for multiple chipsets. In some markets, the Galaxy S6 may pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, while other areas could get an Exynos 7420. Both are rumored to be 64-bit processors and should play nicely with the latest version of Android.
For all that we think we know about the next-gen Galaxy, there is plenty we don't -- and may not for several months. Strap in for a long winter, folks.
